The Exponential Curve of Lawlessness as Divine Restraint is Removed

CAN YOU FEEL the bonds being removed? Do you sense that which Divinely restrains in this world being increasingly taken away? As the restraint is taken out of the way, so the ‘mystery of lawlessness’ — both of which Paul speaks about in 2 Thessalonians 2:6-7 — buds and comes into ‘bloom’ like a dark spiritual shadow that has yeasted its way through history on an increasingly insidious basis the nearer the end of this age approaches. This ‘mystery of lawlessness’ is on a par with the ‘spirit of the antichrist’ to which John refers in 1 John 4:3. This is that dark spiritual shadow (courtesy of the fallen archangel, Satan) which has haunted human history and which is building up to a climax of evil such as most could never imagine. But it will not be as if humans are ‘civilised’ one moment and the next moment they become total monsters. The restraints are surely removed as if on an exponential curve (see accompanying image). The longer it happens the worse things become, and faster.

Surely, when 80% of Amerikans (according to a recent Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll) support Israel in their genocide of Palestinians, we can assume that those restraints are being well and truly taken away. If you try and reason with those 80%, like little robots they will all say, “But the rockets of Hamas have been killing huge amounts of people for years”. Wrong. To date, only 69 people (of which 55 were Israelis) have been killed by at least 28,800 Hamas rockets and mortars in the last 23 years. These are proven statistics. True, it is utterly wrong to kill any civilian in this manner and in fact it is a war-crime. But does having 55 casualties from rockets and mortars in 23 years, when you have been oppressing for decades the population sending them, justify committing genocide on an entire people who already live in abject poverty and under corrupt rule (which, in any case is controlled by the opposition)?

Surely, we are witnessing the undoing of restraint on the ‘mystery of lawlessness’ being acted out in so many ways before our eyes. This was especially accelerated by the Covid debacle and that exponential curve is shooting upwards at an unprecedented rate. I am ‘bumping’ into very many people on social media whose irrationality knows no bounds. I try to make a habit of entering various frays with comments to stimulate thinking processes. I do not do it in an aggressive manner but with rational, common sense, spiritual input. Many of the responses I receive beggar description. It is as if so many folks have lost the ability to think straight — as if some hideous force has ‘got them by the short and curlies’ (if you are familiar with that expression). I feel that we are fast approaching a time when these people will finally proclaim that 2 + 2 = 5 (or anything but 4) and be proud of it! It is not only as if a kind of mental disorder is creeping through the world but an actual spiritual possession, as if an invisible hand of evil and deception has crippled their insight and is turning them into barbarians.

We have reached the stage at which the mass of people in general would rather believe a lie than receive the truth. This is the case now in so many different ways. You can see it across the world. I witness it in my exchanges on social media with so many folks. It is getting totally out of hand. We are dealing with people who actually prefer lies to the truth, which they disparage. Their bitter and deluded hatred of truth is plain to see. This is, in fact, all a rehearsal for the time when the mass of people (i.e. those who refuse discipleship of Christ) will “believe the lie” (tō pseudos) about which Paul speaks in that prophecy in 2 Thessalonians 2:11. That lie will be that the Antichrist is God manifested in the flesh. Their previous intrinsic disdain for the truth will result in God sending them a “working of delusion”, finally handing them over to their own wilful disobedience, so that they will believe that lie — the ultimate in falsehood. That is hardly surprising in view of the fact that the vast majority of humanity is so ready to believe falsehood even now. It is all part of the exponential-curve-style build-up of the ‘mystery of lawlessness’ and the ‘spirit of the antichrist’.

So do not be shocked about 80% of a country’s population approving, even egging-on, genocide. They willingly, wilfully, believe the lies they are told. They actually want to believe them. They even revel in believing them. The bigger the lie, the more they will believe it. Pearl Harbor. 9/11. Covid. And now the October 7^th debacle. The inner governments and intelligence agencies of these countries and so many more are actually founded on deception, lies and their propagation. That is what the word “intelligence” has been reduced to: Lies and the mind-control necessary to successfully propagate those lies. However, what we are witnessing now is ‘peanuts’ compared to what we will see in the future years as the exponential curve swoops ever forwards and upwards towards the moment when the ultimate ‘man of lawlessness’ is revealed (2 Thessalonians 2:8) — the pinnacle of the humanistic refusal to accept that without the true God in Christ we can do nothing (John 15:5). Always remember though that the Antichrist is a mere man “whom the Lord Jesus will slay with the breath of His mouth and annihilate by the majesty of His arrival”.

Bear also in mind that “the coming of the lawless one will be accompanied by the energizing of Satan, with every kind of power, sign, and pseudo-wonder” (2 Thessalonians 2:9). This “energizing of Satan” (Greek: energeia), Satan working at what he does best, will result in all manner of sorcerous power (for the Antichrist will be  the ultimate sorcerer), strange signs and false miracles. They could not be true miracles, of course, because only God can perform those. They will be the kind of seemingly supernatural phenomena which the phony guru Sai Baba performed — sleight of hand combined with some kind of demonic illusion (like we see already with ETs and channelled discarnate entities).

Surely now we can see how the mass of people’s minds can be so easily mesmerized by patent falsehood. They are being sucked into a vortex of deception which will be both an astonishment and an abomination. It is happening all around us now. They would think I am insane for saying all this. Even one of my kids wrote to me recently pleading with me to get psychiatric help for my religious delusions! 😁 I have to laugh, really I do, even though an increasing number will hurl that accusation in our direction as time goes by, even simply for calling ourselves disciples of Christ. But I hope that you will be able to see that what I am sharing is both biblical and logical. I would rather believe the Bible (observing its prophecies working out in real-time) and be counted insane by the masses than reject it and be reckoned as sensible by those same deluded masses.
