SO MANY FOLKS ON FAKEBOOK thinking they can misappropriate references out of the Book of Revelation (or “Revelations”, as they mistakenly love to call it) to fit into their own nutty conspiracy notions. The most recent nonsense is the way they see the use of a horse at the Paris Olympic Opening Ceremony, which they foolishly apply to one or two of the four horses mentioned in chapter 6 of the Book of Revelation. The ignorance and hubris are astonishing.

Of far more concern at that pathetic ceremony was the bigging-up of the currently trendy fat people, drag queens and all the transgender baloney in what appears to be a typical EuroTrash-style parody of the famous painting of the Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci (see the attached image). The normalization of personality disorders is now well underway. Sanity, morality, veracity, and the ability to think logically are becoming rarities (even in the visible church as well as in the wider world)… just as the Bible has predicted.

As for the horse… the symbolic four horses in the Book of Revelation have been active, insofar as what they represent, throughout this entire age in varying degrees, though climaxing as the end of the age draws near. If one does not understand the Old Testament background to this image of the four horses (especially in the prophecies of the Book of Zechariah) then one will not get anywhere near a true interpretation of those horses.

It so happens that I am just producing the second edition of my commentary on the Book of Revelation and was working today on that very chapter about the four horsemen. Do these twisters of the Book of Revelation not realise that it is the Revelation of Jesus Christ (as it actually says in the opening verse of the book), not a handbook of nutjob conspiracies for dilettantes who do not study for truth.

So… hey, all you usurpers! Leave the Book of Revelation alone! You are just showing your ignorance and arrogance in misapplying its contents. But worse than that, you are unwittingly invoking for yourselves the curse on all those who misuse the text of the Book of Revelation, which says this:

“I testify to everyone who hears the words of prophecy in this book: If anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. And if anyone takes away from the words of this book of prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and the holy city, which are described in this book” (Book of Revelation, chapter 22, verses 18-19).
