Never have I been before
so shocked to see the way
that “Christians” vote for those who are
devoid of agapé.
So easily they’re soon deceived
by someone’s clever chat.
But how can one who’s Spirit-filled
be taken in by that?

To vote, of course, is just a scam
(it’s “engineered consent”),
even when that vote involves
your so-called “president”.
He’s just a part of what’s known as
the “deep-state power-elite”.
His mobster friends and pervert pals
his handlers will secrete.

Involve yourself in politics?
It’s all just full of ****!
The ones who run your country
(and for which you never vote)
will always weave their darkness
and they have no antidote.

You’re all puffed up when you have “won”
an election at the polls.
So proud you are with blue or red
pinned on your buttonholes.
But it will not be very long
before those smiles will fade.
A “win” is just a show for you —
a hollow accolade.

Your snipes at those who you oppose
are not a pretty sight.
You think that God is on your side
and that you’re always right.
My friends, if you take seriously
the thrust of politricks,
then you’re just patsies who’ve been duped.
You’re moral derelicts.

Have you never wondered why
that nothing bad will change
no matter who gets “into power”?
Do you not think that’s strange?

who just love to take a side;
but that means that you always will

All those chicks in ‘power dress’ —
and men decked up in suits.
(And if you think I shouldn’t judge,
you’ll know them by their fruits).
The salads which they’re serving up
in parliaments these days
will come with lots of “porky-pies”*
hid ’neath the mayonnaise.

The ‘bible-belt’ [sic] cult believes
a hit’s been made for God.
because their idol came to power
who does not spare the rod.
But he is just a puppet who’s been
made to think he’s free
to carry out whate’er he likes;
In the end, he’ll fall. You’ll see.

“We have no king but Caesar”
is the gist of what you say.
You claim your “Pres” does the Lord’s work,
but God he does betray.
For to rule without compassion
is just not the way of Christ,
and by choosing heretics to serve
with him, truth’s sacrificed.

Calamity will come to pass
on this corrupted earth
as surely as day turns to night:
That’s truth, for what it’s worth.
And politricks will play its part
in bringing this to be;
that “Golden Age” your “Pres” extols
will be apostasy.

All politricks is subterfuge
and now has come its hour
preparing what’s [and who’s!] to come,
all goodness to devour.
So if you must partake in that,
I’ll not stand in your way.
But I’ve no wish to be a dupe,
nor God to disobey.

There IS an antidote to come
but it will not be found
in any human strategy
for there’s a battleground
which must be fought and won but not
by any human means.
That joy will come when God the Son
in power intervenes.
