I’m sorry to have to write this but in this first 24 hours of the Second Edition of “The Serpent & the Cross” being available, most of the orders have been wrongly made. By which I mean that insufficient money has been sent via Paypal and it is difficult to contact you if you do not give an email address. For example, someone from Germany ordered one copy which is £32.30 GBP (£22 for the book plus postage of £10.30) yet he only sent 15. I’m not sure how thast could happen. Others are sending so that it is received by the sponsor in Euros or Dollars – even people from the UK are doing that! I had hoped that people would be able to work out what the cost would be in their own currency by using a currency converter, but clearly that is not the case. I apologise for not making it all clearer. So I have now changed the Postage Chart to reflect other currencies. and save you the hassle of working out a conversion. So you put it in the PayPal form with your own currency and it should be automatically converted into Swiss Francs (CHF), which is where the sponsor lives. If it is not automatically converted, you should be able to change the recipient’s currency to CHF.

The thing is that we are already making a loss because of PayPal’s oppressive charges when someone makes an order. So we cannot send out a book to the US for 14 CHF, which is what someone sent, when it is actually 45.50 CHF! Please check the postage chart carefully. One has to send £22 GBP, or €26 Euros, or $30 USD, or R513 ZAR, or A$45.50 AUD for each book ordered PLUS whatever postage is shown on the chart. Please also give your email address in the message, as well as your physical address, and also your phone number. This is not only in case there is a problem but the information is also explicitly required by customs.
