HAVE YOU NOTICED how people everywhere are increasingly showing their true colours? It’s as if there is a compulsion for them to do so which they are unable to resist. So, those who have been sitting on a pile of aggression while hiding behind a smarmy false smile are breaking out into fits of truculence and hostile bellicosity. Those who have been merely fearful will become cumulatively chronically paranoid. Those who specialise in telling so-called “white” lies will be moving into total mendacity as their fundamental way of life. Those who have been susceptible to mild inculcation with government or similar propaganda will become increasingly subject to outright brainwashing and cultism. Those who have been somewhat inclined towards religious false teachings and phoney spirituality will become more and more enveloped in them — progressively sucked into their deceptive quagmire. This is what I call “The Exponential Curve of Increasing Lawlessness”. It is intimately connected with the gradual removal of restraint on the “mystery of lawlessness” in this world.
Jesus made an oblique reference to this when He spoke of “the multiplication of lawlessness” leading to the pathological reality that “the love of most will grow cold” (Matthew 24:12). Jesus puts this ‘multiplication of lawlessness’ on a par with what conditions on earth were like prior to the flood in Noah’s time, and in Sodom and Gomorrah in Lot’s time (Luke 17:26-29), when evil had exponentially proliferated to gargantuan proportions. Such ‘multiplication’ is already happening on this earth right now; and that multiplication appears to be exponential: i.e., the more it multiplies, the more it multiplies, if you get my drift. Paul the Apostle hinted at this exponential multiplication of lawlessness when he said that “evil people and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived” throughout this age (2 Timothy 3:13). This is all part of the “mystery of lawlessness” which permeates this age, though it has been under some restraint from spiralling completely out of control until the time when that restraint will be (or maybe even now is already beginning to be) completely removed (2 Thessalonians 2:6-8) and all hell will subsequently break loose on an even tighter exponential curve, a major feature of which will be the revealing of the “man of lawlessness”, a.k.a. the Antichrist.
What we need to realise is that it does not take very long for human evil, lawlessness, and the degeneration which results from it to permeate the world. Allow me to demonstrate: Between the debacle in Eden and the evil-addled world at the time of the Flood there was merely a time period of around 2000 years. (Some place it at 1656 years at one end of the spectrum, while others — working from the Septuagint — place it at 2,200+ years). That is all the time it took for the exponential degeneration to take place. So far, the exponential degeneration of the present age since Jesus’ ascension has been a tad short of 2,000 years, during which evil people and impostors have indeed gone from bad to worse and lawlessness has multiplied. The Exponential Curve of Increasing Lawlessness. Now it all seems to be speeding up, like a runaway train about to derail off the tracks, which has been especially assisted by advances helpful to lawlessness, such as communication and technology.
What this ‘Exponential Curve of Increasing Lawlessness’ means, for example, is that if you are into some bad elements in this world, even opening the door to them out of unhealthy curiosity — unless one is rescued spiritually by Divine providence — then that curiosity will progressively escalate into some kind of base amorality, then into debauchery, then into despicable things, then into abominations, then into unmitigated evil, then into things that can only be described as diabolical, demoniacal, until one has been completely overwhelmed by the forces of darkness, yet all the while imagining that one is becoming super-wise and even ‘enlightened’, for this is how evil operates in the human heart which has not been redeemed. They become sitting ducks for demonic manipulation. The associated lack of conscience makes one impervious to recognising one’s own heinous depths of malignity — a walking timebomb of iniquitous intent.
However, it works the other way too, in what could be described as an ‘Exponential Curve of Increasing Righteousness’, Thus, for example, those who are not currently disciples of Christ but who have been waking up to certain aspects of truth and are attracted to it will find that a progressively increasing amount of truth will begin to hit them between the eyes and demand a reaction, and that reaction will be a positive one. Those who have merely put their toes in the water of reality but do long for more will start facing it bigtime on an exponentially increasing basis. Those who love truth but are not so great at communicating it will find that they will be given an increasing ability to do so. Those who oppose the debauchery and lawlessness of the world — even before they have expressly called out to the Lord to deliver them from it — but are just becoming aware that there is an alternative to the evil pathways of this world and they seek to be led into better pastures, will indeed be led into those pastures in an exponentially illuminating manner if they ‘stick to their guns’. In the midst of all the debauchery and lawlessness of the world, there are those who I would call “disciples in waiting”. Just as those who follow the pathway of lawlessness are increasingly sucked into being under demonic influence, so those who oppose lawlessness and seek righteousness will be brought increasingly under Divine intervention and angelic protection.
So now seeds of lawlessness and seeds of righteousness are germinating with increasing ease and quantity in their respective exponential curves — though the former far surpass the latter in number in these culminatory last of the ‘last days’ until eventually, some way in to the time of ‘great tribulation’, most of those who seek righteousness and who live it (i.e. disciples of Christ) will have been exterminated by the satanic state and the earth will largely be populated by those who revere lawlessness. “When the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:2). The unspoken reply to that question of Jesus must surely be “very little”. The answer could not be “none whatsoever” because Paul speaks about those disciples who are still alive at the coming of Christ being resurrected after those who have already died (1 Thessalonians 4:15-17). But by then most will have been exterminated, though some will still remain. Then the end will come, and judgement will fall, and the revering of lawlessness over righteousness will be seen to have been a fatal error from a spiritual standpoint, leading only to spiritual death and eternal destruction for not having obeyed the Gospel. Yes, obeyed! For the Gospel is not just an “offer” (weakling evan”jelly”cal expression), it is actually a command (2 Thessalonians 1:8). Obey it or face the consequences!
How necessary it is to ensure that one is on the right exponential curve, and to show others also the importance of that.

Thank You Alan. Good to hear from you and I hope you had a nice day on the 3rd, as I am sure you do everyday anyways. I do struggle but I pray this is where I am at: How necessary it is to ensure that one is on the right exponential curve, and to show others also the importance of that. Amen.
