TO SAY THAT THIS WAR ON IRAN is being waged by the USA as ‘an act of salvation’ to liberate its people from a repressive regime is propagandist nonsense. I have actually had (plainly brainwashed) people say that to me with total confidence. The misplaced brazenness is astounding. Such people need a history lesson. The US administration couldn’t give a damn about the totality of the indigenous people of Iran. So here is the illustrative history lesson:

In 1953, the US CIA and UK MI6 overthrew the democratically elected Iranian Prime Minister Mohammad Mosaddegh in a coup d’état, allegedly “to protect oil interests”. They then installed their puppet Shah of Iran as ruler, Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi who, a few years later (1957), with the assistance of the CIA and Mossad, set up the Iranian security and intelligence service known as SAVAK (Sazman-e Etelaat va Amniat-e Keshvar). SAVAK routinely used brutal methods including physical torture and psychological abuse to extract information. Documented methods included severe beatings, electric shocks, hanging from ceilings, sleep deprivation, and sexual violence. (Does that remind you of the evil activities carried out by the US Army and CIA at Abu-Ghraib prison in Iraq, 2003-2004? Same techniques exactly). Under the Shah, with the assistance of the CIA and Mossad, Evin Prison in Tehran became notorious as a “torture factory” for reportedly holding between 25,000 and 100,000 political prisoners during the height of the regime’s power. Many were ‘disappeared’ or outright killed. Yet there was no condemnation then from those who had installed the SAVAK! All this is what ultimately led to the Iranian Islamic Revolution of 1979 (which of course, like all revolutionary regimes, then installed its own repressive measures).

So you see that the crocodile tears for the “poor people of Iran” by the likes of Donald Trump today are nothing but a cover for the pretext of doing again what the USA did in 1953 by attempting a coup d’état and overthrow of the current Iranian regime in order to establish a puppet leader and patsy regime so that the US and Israel can plunder the rich resources of the country and maintain control of the Middle-East. There is nothing new under the sun. History repeats itself ad nauseam. In fact, history (especially as taught in schools and other “educational” institutions) is just one long succession of manipulation, psyops and gaslighting. Remember that the US only condemns regime brutality and cruelty in other countries if those countries are hostile to the US. If they are friendly towards the US, then it keeps quiet and even engages in denial (and, of course, the US government /military/ intelligence agencies can be counted on to give friendly regimes much assistance in their repressive measures, for they are past masters of such measures). These are the historical realities of this weird world which you can check for yourself. Go on. Go right ahead. For many “Christians” are spouting propaganda rather than truth about this war. However, the genuine disciple of Christ should have only an allegiance to truth and not to some party political, nationalistic, or doctrinally-dodgy agenda.
