NONE OF WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE WORLD TODAY is about what is really happening. It is like watching a game of chess when you have no idea what the rules are or how to play. Pieces are moving around on the board but you don’t know why or what the real endgame is. None of what is taking place in the world today is random. It is all happening as part of the multi-dimensional game of chess which is being played by players who you will never identify.

For example, the war in Iran will not really (or merely) be about a war in Iran. It is simply a chess move designed by those forces of darkness who pull the strings of the puppet presidents and prominent politicians and players of the world in order to create their required conditions. (Yes, Donald Trump is also just a puppet of those forces, though he thinks he is pulling the strings — a puppet who has been made to imagine that he is a puppeteer! The perfect deception). There will be ulterior motives for this war from players who you cannot see and whose identities you will never know (and I am not speaking about a Soros or a Rothschild or a Rockefeller or any of the other names known for New World Order conspiration, for they are just puppets too). It is not important that you should know the precise identity of the demonically-energized characters behind the scenes. Forces of darkness do not need to be identified. All we need to know is that the whole world lies under the power of those dark forces (1 John 5:19). For now! This is what the Bible calls “the mystery of lawlessness” (2 Thessalonians 2:7).

That “mystery of lawlessness” is playing itself out (and has been since Jesus’ ascension) on the chess-board of this world by Divine permission and under Divine restraint (2 Thessalonians 2:6; Revelation 20:2) as it would be considerably worse if that restraint was not there. At some stage, that restraint will be removed and all hell will break loose (if it is not beginning to be removed already). For evil has to come to its head; and when that hideous climax is reached, God will intervene through His Christ in the most dramatic manner imaginable (Luke 17:24) to bring this age and this cosmos to a close, followed by the great Divine judgement on all the billions who have ever lived (Romans 2:5-8), out of which will arise a new cosmos in which there will be “no more death or mourning or crying or pain” (Revelation 21:4-5), and which will be populated by those contrite souls who have turned away from the madness and evil of this world and the vain snare of their egos and petty desires, so as to be conformed to their Divine Creator and King, who manifested in the flesh two thousand years ago as the Man, Christ Jesus.

Whatever we see happening in the world, however evil or crazy, it is ultimately God’s purpose which will always be fulfilled. Everything is working towards that in its own way, no matter how dastardly or evil it is. For God uses the evil of demons and humans for the benefit of His own good purposes. And it is all in God’s timing. This is why those who have made their peace with God need great patience and endurance (Revelation 14:12), for only He has the Big Picture about the game of chess being played, even though the reality of the eventual glorious checkmate has been revealed to us! This is why God’s people do not need to feel disheartened by what they see happening all around them in the world today. For the former archangel who became the “ruler of this world” through usurpation and deception, who we now know as Satan, has been defeated two thousand years ago through the death, resurrection and ascension of Christ (John 12:31; Colossians 2:15). However, having refused to accept his defeat and ramping up his rage and resentment (Revelation 12:12-17; 1 Peter 5:8; Ephesians 6:12), he has been allowed to continue to wield global influence for God’s own purposes in His mighty mopping-up operation throughout this age, while human and demonic evil are allowed to come to their head.

The fools of this world who imagine they run it thought that they would win their game of chess because they failed to realise that they were playing against their own Creator who they thought they had rejected and dismissed. Imagine the sea-change on their smug faces at the time of the end when they are forced to recognise the truth, and on the faces of all those who have followed them and believed their serial lies. They thought that their darkness reigned supreme, yet they will themselves be consigned by God to eternal “outer darkness” when they are judged at the end of this age (Matthew 25:30; 2 Thessalonians 1:9).
