Dear Friends,
In a week or so, I hope to have the first chapter ready in a first draft for proofreaders to have a go at in my commentary on Matthew 24 and 25, Jesus’ teaching on the Mount of Olives. It would have been cool if I had it ready by today because this teaching was originally given by Him on the Tuesday just before His crucifixion on the Friday. But there we go.
I am currently up to verse 41 out of 51 verses in the entire chapter. The most difficult verses (15, 34, 36) which each needed mini-essays are now behind me, so it should just be just another week at most, I reckon, to have a first draft chapter ready for proofing. The chapter so far has 52 pages consisting of almost 19,000 words. Maybe ten pages more to be written and then a final read-through, then completion in a week. The pages are large format paperback size. While chapter 24 is being proofread, I can than get to work on chapter 25. Here is an image of the Contents page of this chapter:

So, do you have some proofreading skills (I don’t!😊) and some time on your hands, and you like in-depth Bible exposition? If you are moved to do this, please feel free to offer your services. I’m talking about checking for typographical faults, spelling mistakes, grammar glitches, inconsistencies and theological errors. If this appeals to you, I look forward to hearing from you. You can send me a brief email at diakrisis-project@outlook.com .
Thanks for reading this.
Blessings from me,

Alan
