THIS IS A HEADS-UP about my next project, having recently completed my commentary on the Book of Revelation. In response to many requests throughout recent years, I am pleased to announce that I am now embarking on the creation of a second edition of my 1994 book, “The Serpent & the Cross: Religious Corruption in an Evil Age” (above is the cover of that first edition). That book traced Satan’s strategy to corrupt both the world and the church down through the ages — with a particular emphasis on the way that Gnostic thinking and Eastern mysticism (complementary aspects of occult development) have made huge inroads into popular culture and even the church, while certain key movements in recent history have accelerated the reach of the “spirit of the Antichrist” and the “mystery of lawlessness”.

Frankly, I will not have a huge amount to add to the original manuscript. It will mostly be a question of reformatting everything and redoing the hundreds of footnotes as most of the original formatting has been lost as the book was written in ancient software (Lotus AmiPro) in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The research for this 620-page book was extensive, with the equivalent of many months over some years spent poring through hundreds of books in the Bodleian Library in Oxford. So there will not be much to add in terms of actual research, as what was prognosticated in the book has actually come to pass! However, many aspects of corruption in the churches have developed since 1993 and those details will be updated in the second edition. This project of creating a second edition will probably take several painstaking months. It will initially be released in digital format as I believe that this information needs to reach as wide an audience as possible due to the poor understanding of so many on threse matters. The book may even have its own proprietary website. I am aware that very few read in-depth these days, but you never know!
