I HAVE OFTEN BEEN ASKED, by those who do not like reading, to provide a brief summary of what is in my 1044-page book, “The Serpent and the Cross” (the 2nd edition of which was published last year). I have generally resisted providing that because no summary could really do it justice. I would urge you to read the whole thing, even if only in small spurts over a long period of time. However, if you really need a 2,800-word precis to whet your appetite, then here it is…

Humanity has waged a malevolent war of hatred towards God from the beginning — as shown going right back to the Bible’s depiction of the events in the Garden of Eden. This malevolent war has its roots in an earlier ‘fall’ of angels led by a being we now know as Satan. (Yes, you’d better believe that there is a demonic realm coming from another dimension if you want to make sense of what happens in this world!). Those fallen angels then became known as demons. That war, therefore, is demonic in origin and it spread into God’s human creation. This is why John the apostle could say that “the whole world lies under the power of the evil one” (1 John 5:19). The “evil one” there is Satan.

So human beings fell under the ‘spell’ of Satan from the beginning. It seems that, if left to their own devices in the exercise of freewill, humans will fall into pride, narcissism, and delusions of total personal autonomy (i.e. imagining that God is unnecessary, a fantasy). That, in itself, would be bad enough. But when the denial of God develops over time without any restraint, then that evil naturally escalates exponentially. In more primitive times, that exponential escalation climaxed in events such as the dire state of humanity just before the Flood (“the earth was corrupt in the sight of God, and full of violence”, Genesis 6:11), then the delusional event at the tower of Babel, where the people made the anti-God statement, “Let us build for ourselves a city with a tower that reaches to the heavens, that we may make a name for ourselves and not be scattered over the face of all the earth”, Genesis 11:4). On each of those occasions God intervened with an external restraint on the natural climax of human evil — first with a flood, then a scattering of the people across the earth, all to curb the growth of evil, which is always exponential. (However, it has to be said that throughout that time, there was always a limited number of people who did not wage war against God but who “began to call upon the name of the LORD” in prayer and supplication, such as we see in Genesis 4:26).

Then there was God’s inauguration of the Old Testament nation of Israel out of the direct lineage of Abraham who had been into idolatry but who God called out of all that (Joshua 24:2; Genesis 12:1-3) and who then became a paragon of faith as he ventured forth on a mission without knowing where he was going to end up. The entire Old Testament history of Israel — during which, because of the fact that it represented God separating a people from the evil of the world, it was continually assailed by the hatred of the surrounding heathen nations who were steeped in idolatry, sorcery and a hatred of the one true God — was a preparation for the coming of the long-promised Messiah (the first glint of promise was in Genesis 3:15) who in English we call Jesus the Christ. With the coming of Christ two thousand years ago, God’s restraint on human evil and humans warring against God became an internal one in terms of the complete individual spiritual transformation through what is called “the Gospel”, the reality that the Christ as God manifested in the flesh, while being crucified by the state and corrupted priesthood of Israel, took upon Himself the hellish penalty for the sin (moral failure) of all those who would become His disciples and that those disciples would be sanctified, set apart from the evil of the world, and resurrected after death to “newness of life”. That body of disciples is what the Bible calls in Greek “the Ekklesia”, the Church, which is also known as the “body of Christ”. But even the church, in its visible manifestation, became corrupted through the various crazinesses of the subsequent religion called Christianity (which, in fact, Christ never came to start) and the increasingly institutionalised and corrupt “church” which became an impostor (that too being a manifestation of satanic human corruption). Yet, even in the midst of the corrupt development of that pseudo-Christian religion and the corrupt pseudo-power of the Church with its Vatican and Inquisitions and Crusades and false teachings and countless sectarian divisions, the Gospel still reached those for whom it was intended.

However, the coming of Christ only served to anger the demonic realm, which is why so many demons manifested to Christ during His earthly life. (In fact, Satan had continually attempted to destroy the lineage which would eventually lead to the Christ throughout the entire Old Testament period, though at each attempt he was thwarted). After Christ’s victorious death, resurrection and ascension, that demonic realm was angered even more with a never-seen-before level of mayhem-causing rancour which resulted in the burgeoning level of movements as part of the ongoing demonic strategy of war. In particular, this involved the development of Gnosticism in the ensuing centuries and the many resultant strains of pseudo-spirituality and occultism in the centuries after that, issuing ultimately in the so-called “Rosicrucian Enlightenment”, Theosophy and its offshoots today influenced by Alice Bailey’s “New Age” teachings, plus the many sects of eastern and western mysticism. In the 19th century, such philosophical developments as Evolution Theory, Theological Liberalism and Socio-Political Utopianism were instrumental in denigrating the truths which Christ kindled on earth and attempting to undermine the truth of God.

Thus, since the advent of Christ, the evil of humanity and its bitter war against God has continued unchecked, climaxing in the more recent development of science and technology, leading to the invention and use of increasingly bigger and more destructive explosive weapons, along with chemical, biological and directed energy weapons — the outcome of a despicably powerful arms trade. Aside from the level of chaos, corruption (even of law enforcement and so-called “justice” departments), organised crime, the waging of proxy wars, invasions and coups d’états, genocides, political shenanigans, etc., so much of modern life reflects this war against God: The massive number of impostors in the visible church along with the huge number of pseudo-Christian bandwagons and outright cults such as the Charismatic Movement, the New Apostolic Reformation and Seven Mountain Mandate, and we even see the promotion of false Christianity by the U.S. White House and its appointment of someone who can only be described as a ‘witch’ to the running of the so-called “Faith Office” (which is really an Interfaith Office and not a Christian one at all). Part of this war against God is the development of the Interfaith Movement, which seeks to create a confederation of religions designed to nullify the exclusive truth about Christ. Then there is the widespread prevalence in the Western world of all the right-wing violence and aggression, left-wing “wokeism” and so-called “Trans” stuff, whereby people and even children are encouraged to question and attempt to overturn their God-given gender identities, encouraged by medical “experts” and politicians too — yet another manifestation of the bitter war against God. Remember that Left and Right wings are merely invented constructs to keep division operating and to generate a fabricated political game of warfare. No disciple of Christ should be participating in that game.

The entire gamut of politics today is corrupt through and through as successive generations are deceived into imagining that politicians can save the world, even leading it to some kind of “Golden Age” — a delusion if ever there was one. For this world is secretly run by a power-elite of rich, powerful, connected, unelected people working through family bloodlines, intelligence agencies (and their contractors), militaries (and their contractors), banks, corporate entities, quangos and secret societies. Elections and democracy are a sham organised to gaslight the people into imaging that they have a say in appointing their leaders. It’s known as “engineered consent”. For all elected governments have to fulfil the desires of the power-elite which operates behind the scenes. This is why election promises are always unaccomplished. Yet no one ever seems to learn from this. Divide and conquer is the name of the game, and it is designed not only to distract but also to keep people at each other’s throats or drumming up riots so that they can be quashed by the state in a show of martial law.

So what now lies ahead in the war of hatred against God? Is there to be a favourable outcome? Well, there is, but not in the way that most would imagine. For there is to be no future “Golden Age” or “Coming Shift” on this earth as promoted by occultists, theosophists and New Age fantasists. Neither will there be a “Global Revival”, as falsely prophesied by heretics and false followers of Christ. Instead, the Bible clearly shows that there will be a worldwide apostasy, moral degeneration and descent into a terrible time of “great tribulation” (Daniel 12:1; Matthew 24:21; Revelation 13:1-10; 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12). If you want a definition of apostasy, it involves an abandonment of faithful allegiance to whatever is ethically decent, or the wanton renunciation of moral principles, or a complete betrayal of religious or spiritual affiliation. Alternative expressions would be ‘falling away’ or ‘utter rebellion’. To apostatise represents a disintegration of moral and spiritual principles into godless betrayal, dissolution, debauchery, degeneracy, or licentiousness. This apostasy of the world is not a mere falling away from the faith by the outwardly previously faithful (i.e., a purely religious apostasy). It is an all-out revolt against natural and Divine law, a mass global rebellion against God the Creator by the created, an increasingly insistent denial that the Christ has come in the flesh, and the resultant hubristic promotion of the self as the pinnacle of life. This great apostasy across the earth will involve the emergence of a character who the Bible refers to as “the man of lawlessness” or “Antichrist” (2 Thessalonians 2:3; 1 John 2:18), who will oversee this time of great tribulation and introduce a vicious pogrom against all those who are genuine disciples of Christ (for they will be the only ones who will call him out for who he really is — Satan’s puppet on earth). But what are the conditions on earth which will lead up to this?

Currently, there are major plans among those who think they run the world to develop Artificial Intelligence without any ethical considerations, and to expand all the trappings of what is known as Transhumanism, which is a cultural, philosophical and scientific movement that advocates the use of advanced technologies — such as genetic engineering, AI, and nanotechnology — to radically and fundamentally enhance human physical and cognitive capacities, in order to overcome biological limitations such as ageing, disease, and even death itself. The movement proposes that humans with augmented capabilities will evolve into an enhanced super-species that transcends humanity, leading to what it calls the “posthuman” or “Human 2.0”. With spiritual insight, one can see that this development is an inevitable atheistic counterfeit of what is involved in being a disciple of Christ, who is described as “a new creation” in the Bible (2 Corinthians 5:17). I say “inevitable” because it represents a major ramping-up of the war against God, so that there are then two types of humans: On the one hand, there are the humbled, spiritually-transformed, morally-reconstructed genuine disciples of Christ and lovers of God, who are indwelt and enabled by the Holy Spirit of God. On the other hand, there are the hubristic, self-obsessed, scientifically-enhanced, morally-corrupt adherents to the new religion of Transhumanism, who are haters of God and are satanically empowered by the demonic realm. This is the nature of the upcoming battle in the theatre of war against God, and it is already being waged in its infancy right now. This is why the development of AI and Transhumanism is a major plank in the goals of the Trump/Vance regime in the USA, which is in cahoots with the major players (i.e., the “tech-bros”) in the realm of Transhumanism and is devoted to its development. Sidenote: Bear in mind that the USA is not a “Christian” country. It was founded to a large degree by rationalist Deists and Freemasons. As the Encyclopaedia Britannica puts it in a perceptive article: “Although orthodox Christians participated at every stage of the new republic, Deism influenced a majority of the Founders”. Furthermore, 16% that signed the Declaration of Independence and 33% that signed the US Constitutions are known to have been Freemasons.

Obviously, the full Transhumanist transformation will only be available to those who have the means for it. Most of the world’s population who do not follow Christ will be more or less drones for the system, plugged into an all-encompassing surveillance state, cowed by it, subdued by it, digitally controlled by an “internet of people/things” which will render them as utterly subservient to the state, which will be a global one under a global government.

This may sound like science fiction to those who have done no research. But to those who have done so, it will have the ring of truth. Faithful disciples of Christ will have nothing whatsoever to do with this ‘brave’ new world of godless technological barbarism and faithless philandering. It is my firm hope and inner belief that as this world descends into this Transhumanist nightmare — the natural outcome of the demonically-inspired war of hatred towards God — an increasing number will see that biblical prophecy has been right all along and they will therefore become disciples of Christ rather than drones of the satanic state; for His disciples will vigorously resist the godless edicts of that state.

To withstand this development will inevitably lead to incarceration and execution by the corrupt state. But death is not a problem for disciples of Christ, as for them “death is the end of all griefs”, whereas for those who refuse discipleship of Christ, “death is the end of all joys” (as Matthew Henry puts it). The irony is that no matter how much a human being may be enhanced by technology to enjoy longevity and seemingly to cheat death, they will all die in the end anyway. For even if they extend their lives in the midst of their global governance and Transhumanist world of make-believe, the reality is that it will not be too long after the revealing of the Antichrist on earth that the true Christ will return here in order to wind up this creation and bring in the Divine judgement on all humanity. This is the “favourable outcome” that I mentioned above — one on which atheists, occultists, pseudo-spirituality folks and Transhumanists have not reckoned. For, although this world (and in particular Christ’s followers) has to go through this time of great tribulation and suffering at the hands of godless men and women, that will be the tree-felling climax of human evil, which will have finally shown its true colours in all its hubristic quasi-glory.

When this world, this imperfect creation, has finally been obliterated and the opposers and haters of God have been judged and sent to their rightful place (the Bible gives it the symbolic title of “the lake of fire” and “the second death” or “outer darkness”, in which Jesus said there would be “wailing and gnashing of teeth”), there will be a new created world, in which “there will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the former things have passed away” and “No longer will there be any curse” (Revelation 21:4; 22:3). The very idea of Transhumanism will have been nothing more than a flicker of mutiny against God by desperate, God-hating rebels against all that is beautiful and lovely — as will all the redundant anti-God strategies down the ages.

So there you have a potted history of the world and its war of hatred towards God. It is really just an indicator.
