Here is the terrible reality: Unless one is willing to have one’s reputation destroyed or one’s breath removed, one will not have the freedom from all constraints which is absolutely necessary in order to be a 100% incorruptible whistleblower in this evil world. One must have no encumbrances whatsoever and nothing left to lose, or one could still be compromised. For if you stand up for truth in the midst of their lies, they will come for you, and they will do their best to find your weak spot, so as to deter you and break you. Whistleblowing is not for the fainthearted.

Gary Webb did the world a service by consolidating his researches into the CIA-drugs connection by writing a 608-page book with Maxine Waters, entitled “Dark Alliance: The CIA, the Contras, and the Crack Cocaine Explosion”. This book is a tour de force — a masterpiece of investigative reporting. It had its flaws and was not 100% perfect. But instead of concentrating on what was excellent in the reporting and following it up with all the resources which they have at their disposal, the three CIA-manipulated rags, the Los Angeles Times, New York Times and Washington Post (presumably also miffed at being trumped for the story by a small local paper) did an orchestrated takedown on Webb and his work.

Eight years later, on 10th December 2004, Gary Webb was found dead with two gunshots to the head. It was deemed a suicide by the coroner. Whether he was ‘suicided’ by a contract killing or did actually manage to put two bullets in his own head can probably never be conclusively determined. But does that matter? Either they do it TO YOU by driving you to kill yourself through the depression they have caused through ruining your life (as they had done with Webb) or they do it FOR YOU and make it look like suicide. It’s all still assassination, though in the former it involves assassinating your character first so you feel you have nothing more to live for, which is exactly how they want you to feel. That is also how the demonic realm wants those who oppose them to feel. If you stand up to them, they want you to wish you were dead. This is why it is so important to have a genuine spiritual foundation in Christ if one dares to stand up and be counted “against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this world’s darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms” (Letter to the Ephesians, chapter 6, verse 12). Without that foundation, one can find oneself in some very dark corners indeed — dark enough for you to ‘top’ yourself, falsely imagining that to be the only way out”.
