That Trump is completely unhinged in a sociopathic Narcissistic Personality Disorder manner is very obvious to anyone with an ounce of perception, objectivity, and having a good understanding of mental illness (the same unhingement applies to many of his political entourage). It also helps to not be part of the cult of Trump and thus be able to make an objective judgement.
But there is much more to it all than that.
Just two months into the Trump/Vance regime taking office, despite being told that this administration is like “a breath of fresh air” (as I have seen it put many times), it is already apparent that we are observing a typical neo-Stalinist administration in the making. (For those who may not be aware, Joseph Stalin was the communist head of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR), commonly known as the Soviet Union, between 1924 and 1953). Check out the following as clear indicators of this:
- Giving the straw-man label of “Trump Derangement Syndrome” to those who see through Trump’s hype and who express their insights into his manner of presentation and lunatic behaviour. This label is not only being applied to people who become hopping mad at a photo of Trump (or some other rather extreme behaviour) but I have even seen it applied to people who rationally and calmly prove conclusively the absolute derangement of Trump! This wholly fabricated “syndrome” has now even been touted as constituting an official mental illness and to be classified as such! This is a classic case of psychological Projection. The deranged person and his brainwashed followers accuse those who clearly see his derangement of being deranged themselves! However, the tendentious use of psychiatric labelling and the stigmatisation of dissidents as being insane was extremely common under Stalin in the Soviet Union (where it was really Stalin who was nuts rather than the dissidents!) and the dissidents were duly rounded up and forcibly detained for years in psychiatric facilities. To dredge up once more the psychiatric labelling of alleged dissidents — those who disagree with and expose a political leader — as being “deranged” can therefore aptly be called Neo-Stalinism.
- Denying entrance to the White House to journalists who do not toe the party line or who question the regime, especially when that regime claims that those journalists are “a threat to democracy and freedom”. Oh, the irony! Classic Neo-Stalinist disposition.
- Muzzling TV and news networks which do not comply with the regime. Saying that news networks which are not favourable to the regime should be “shut down” or that they are “illegal”, while actually referring to political opponents as “scum”. These are classic autocratic Neo-Stalinist attributes.
- Ensuring that the regime’s cronies are shoehorned en masse into key occupations and leadership roles in federal and other government agencies, while those who may potentially be of a different political persuasion, or are simply not the regime’s cronies, are forcibly removed by the thousands. Classic totalitarian Neo-Stalinism (and also symptomatic of historic Stalinism!).
- Trump has used public powers to engage in pursuing personal grudges against anyone who has tried to bring him to account for his crimes. Taking revenge on those who rightly regarded him as a miscreant is very unstatesmanlike. This is a classic example of the kind of immature pettiness and vengeful retribution which characterises this regime and which has characterised many other paranoid, tyrannous, and dictatorial regimes, including that of Joseph Stalin, who regularly accused people of conspiring against him and took action against them — eventually he eradicated all opposition in a great and terrible purge. Trump’s behaviour can thereby easily be classed not only as Neo-Stalinism but potentially as historic Stalinism also. One wonders where it will lead in respect to those who dare to oppose him and, hopefully, expose him.
- Threatening to take over foreign lands with actual boots on the ground in order to plunder their resources (e.g., rare-earth minerals). That is a hallmark of Neo-Stalinist (and historic Stalinist) imperialism. Joseph Stalin annexed eastern Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and parts of Romania. He also attacked Finland.
- The president calls many of those who openly disagree with him on any issue “a horrible person”. Likewise, because Canada is resisting becoming the 51st state of the U.S. and because of the way it is responding to Trump’s deranged tariff policy, Trump called Canada “a nasty country”. Anyone who opposes him in any way at all is often slurred by him as “horrible” or “nasty”. This is a classic demonstration of Narcissistic Personality Disorder, psychological Projection, extreme immaturity, and is symptomatic of Stalinesque paranoia through the inability to accept that not everyone falls in line to a “T” with one’s thinking. This is a major characteristic of this administration: The complete inability to maturely agree to differ with those who think differently but instead to regard them all as “horrible” or “nasty” or worthy of public humiliation. It is just so childish and unstatesmanlike. No leader of people should behave this way. This is why I say that this regime is Neo-Stalinist. Stalin could brook no disagreement and created a mass of “yes-men” around him while he tortured, assassinated and ‘disappeared’ those who stood against his thinking. While it is not yet that extreme in the U.S., one can see very clearly where megalomania can lead when a megalomaniac is so adulated, feared and given free rein.
- Denying entry to the U.S. to those who may disagree with the President and his regime. For example, in March 2025, a respectable French academic who was attending a conference in Texas was denied entry to the U.S. at the airport after border officials searched the scientist’s phone and discovered he had been “exchanging with colleagues and friends in which he expressed a personal opinion on the Trump administration’s research policy” (e.g., budget cuts for science and restrictions on publicly funded research topics). U.S. authorities characterised the content of the messages as “hateful and conspiratorial” and suggested that they could be considered “a manifestation of terrorism”. He was then denied entry and expelled from the U.S. For a respectable French academic to be denied entry and treated like a terrorist for merely having an opinion which does not agree with some aspects of Trump’s research policy is a sure sign of a tyrannous and paranoid administration. It is also another example of Stalinesque behaviour. For he is not the only one to fall foul of Trump’s siege mentality regarding borders. Even governments are now warning UK and European populations about travelling to the U.S.A. because of the possibility of being detained and expelled if they are discovered to have been critical of the U.S. regime.
- Surrounding oneself with “spiritual advisors” to give an air of religious respectability to the regime which will also impress the ‘Bible Belt’ voting bloc and get them onboard. In historic Stalinism, this tactic was not necessary as public support was never sought after and tyrannous policies were enacted without the need for public approval. But with Neo-Stalinism, which hides behind the disguise of support for a pretended ‘democracy’ and ‘freedom’, it is necessary to curry favour with many large public groupings. So, to impress the many professing “Christians” who are gullible enough to potentially vote for and support this godless regime, it has to engage with high-profile religious figures in the visible church (which is mostly not even genuinely Christian anyway!). However, because Trump has no understanding of what a real Christian is (as he is not one himself), he just draws rich, populist, right-wing megachurch types of “Christians” to his cause even if they are heretics. Most of his “Christian” cronies are multi-millionaires and leaders in heretical movements such as the New Apostolic Reformation Movement, Christian ‘Zionism’ affiliated with Israel, Theonomy and Christian Reconstructionism, the Christian Nationalist Movement, and the Charismatic Movement. Trump’s appointment of the nutty, heretical, phony-‘tongues’-speaking, prosperity-theology-preaching, female pastor, Paula White (who Trump calls “amazing”), as the special advisor to the White House Faith and Opportunity Initiative at the Office of Public Liaison is all part of that. It is classic Neo-Stalinist strategy to glean public support, though it also brings the true faith of Christ into disrepute by grandstanding multi-millionaire false teachers and false prophets as being representative of the Divine plan.
- The president setting himself up as Chairman of the John F. Kennedy Centre for the Performing Arts and placing his cronies on the committee in order to influence its output. One of the hallmarks of Stalin’s regime in the Soviet Union was the repression of the arts through committees controlled by him. Theatre directors, composers, and all other branches of the arts had to have their work passed by those committees in order for public performance to take place. This led to ostracism of artists and even incarcerations if they did not toe the government line. Should governments directly control artistic performance where there is no obscenity or breaking of the law? Are we not on the rocky road to totalitarianism when that happens? The very idea of such cultural philistines as Trump and Stalin controlling the output of artistic performance is both laughable and repugnant at the same time.
- Issuing a proclamation granting clemency to approximately 1,200 individuals convicted for their violent, insurrectionist involvement (which had been fomented by Trump in the first place) in the attack on the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021,. For a president to use personal power to pardon convicted insurrectionist criminals merely because they are one’s supporters is Stalinesque in the extreme.
- Presenting a populist manifesto which purports to be “anti-woke” in order to hoodwink the gullible MAGA public (making it into a gaslit cult of what are known in totalitarian states as “useful idiots”) in order to get votes while carefully disguising (secreting) the regime’s real and leading intentions, which are to massively encourage Artificial Intelligence and Transhumanist technology on a vast scale without any ethical or technological limitations imposed, to be developed exclusively on U.S. soil (as laid out in Vance’s A.I. conference lecture in Paris on 11th February 2025). This is the gateway to a nightmare future in “the spirit of the Antichrist”, as I showed in detail in my recent article, which is available here: https://diakrisis-project.com/2025/02/18/investigative-article-the-real-reason-behind-the-election-of-donald-trump-and-behind-his-choice-of-running-mate-too/ .
The only real difference between historic Stalinism and Neo-Stalinism is that the latter makes a pretence of ‘democracy’ and ‘freedom’, which are the skirts behind which it hides the stinking underwear of oppression and vicious intolerance of any disagreement, whereas historic Stalinism was openly oppressive and tyrannous, torturing, assassinating and regularly ‘disappearing’ dissidents. How long will it be before the “Three O’ Clock Knock” becomes a justifiable action in the U.S.? This was the name given in Soviet Union Stalinist times to the secret police coming to your apartment at 3am to take you away for questioning under torture, indefinite incarceration in a gulag, or even disappearance forever. People may laugh at this idea as, to them, it can seem preposterous. But fanatical jingoism so easily descends into tyrannous Draconianism (as could be seen in Stalin’s USSR and Hitler’s Germany in the mid-decades of the twentieth century), especially when (as in Neo-Stalinist regimes) it has the support of a sizeable quantity of gullible people, such as the MAGA crowd in the USA who are so easily duped by populist sloganizing demagogues wearing silly hats.
There is nothing worse in politics than the ‘cult of the personality’, such as has been seen surrounding many despots who were referred to as “our great and glorious leader” by their brainwashed acolytes. The terrible thing is that by proving themselves to be so easily duped by an immature, undeveloped, bullying, disingenuous charlatan such as Trump, the MAGA crowd have brought their witness of the Gospel into disrepute and shown themselves to be unreliable witnesses to truth. For if they are so easily duped on the physical political level, how can they possibly be relied upon on the spiritual level? Their testimony has been made null and void by their rank adulation of a disingenuous, egocentric, pseudo-Christian president.
Maybe some will say at this point that previous presidents have also pardoned wrongdoers, rogues and criminals, and have tried to influence cultural centres to project their views onto the public, or that they also shoehorned their cronies into federal positions. To which I reply, “So what?” That does not in the slightest disprove what I have written. Neither does it let Trump off the hook. It just proves that previous U.S. regimes also had Neo-Stalinist leanings and were evil too! But two wrongs do not make a right. Besides, that only covers three of my above twelve bulleted points, leaving nine which are unique to the Trump regime.
The U.S. has pursued policies of a Neo-Stalinist nature for a long time. For example, invading far-off countries under the guise of “spreading freedom and democracy” when the real aim was to plant puppet regimes in those countries and milk their resources or even to use those countries as sources of drug supply to fund so-called “black operations” (e.g., in Southwest Asia and Afghanistan — Do your research!). If Trump was truly different to other regimes and “a breath of fresh air” in politics (as I am repeatedly told that he is), he would behave very differently to previous corrupt regimes and demonstrate what a statesman should truly be instead of being so retaliatory, petty, and spiteful as he so often is. Thus, we see that the Neo-Stalinesque nature of any U.S. regimes’ strategies has now moved into a higher gear than any previous regimes with the advent of the present Trump regime.
Maybe others will say that “pushing transgender crap and abortion as contraception and tampons in boys bathrooms and men in girls bathrooms are far worse” than anything Trump is doing. I do not believe that. Sure, those things are a violation of God’s law, but this idea that Trump is better than the previous regime because of his professed opposition to those things is precisely the illusion that the power-elite (deep-state) which has shoehorned Trump into the White House desires you to have. It is not a question of “either/or” but “both/and”. Both the previous regime and the present one are rooted in evil. But you have been brainwashed to think that suddenly Trump has brought the world into alignment with God’s law. That is just a bit of clever external tinkering to get you onboard with what will be an even darker agenda than the transgender/bathroom kind of issue: Namely, the wanton development of A.I. and Transhumanism. [Again, please read my article about this: https://diakrisis-project.com/2025/02/18/investigative-article-the-real-reason-behind-the-election-of-donald-trump-and-behind-his-choice-of-running-mate-too/ ].
Maybe some will say that Trump has been “appointed by God” to his position so I should not question his behaviour and actions. One could argue that every leader in the world has been permitted by God to hold their positions for He has not stood in their way, and sometimes God will permit a leader to gain ascendency as a judgement on a population. None of this means that ‘watchers of the world’ have to acquiesce to evil and madness on the part of those leaders. There is a spiritual duty involved here. All leaders should be called to account for their behaviour and actions, especially if they deceive many and become adulated and treated as if they were God or God’s own spokespeople. Even Paula White said, “To say no to President Trump would be saying no to God”. This demonstrates the extent of the delusion. So many people seem to have no idea whatsoever about what it means to be a spiritual person and how that works out in practice. The cult of MAGA which has cast a veil over so many minds of otherwise intelligent people is a dark portent indeed.
Regarding my desire to write all the words I have written above so far, I personally have no ‘skin in the game’. I am not a supporter of any political party or organisation. I am of no “wing” in politics whatsoever. So-called “Left” and so-called “Right” are just two sides of the same pathetic, manipulated, adversarial coin and I am free of any involvement with that go-nowhere, point-scoring, tit-for-tat, merry-go-round. I am simply fulfilling the declared mission statement of my Diakrisis-Project ministry, which is, in part: 1) Investigative exposition on any world developments which are of spiritual and prophetic interest; 2) Exposing deception and cultism both in the “Christian” scene and on the wider world stage; 3) Holding out a hand of rescue to those who suffer psychological, emotional, or spiritual manipulation and abuse in the religious or spiritual scene in general. I am also simply an observer of global developments and an ordinary disciple of Christ with a measured, watchful eye on biblical prophecy (who has also written a 600-page commentary on the Book of Revelation — a book of the Bible which has much to say about tyranny of an antichristian nature). This article has therefore been written as a simple warning. For there are always precursor signs of slides into tyranny. They do not happen randomly in a vacuum. There is always an observable process of decline. All it takes is one narcissistic, hypocritical, deluded megalomaniac surrounded by heartless ass-kissing cronies and supported en masse by naïve jingoists who have as much discernment as a disused telegraph pole. The rest of the conveyor-belt process follows on from that as surely as night follows day.
We do live in interesting times…
