They stole the name of Jesus
and made it all their own
to further their infernal cause —
they’ve made a faction-zone.
They’ve misappropriated Him
to suit their selfish aim.
So we must now expose it all
to their eternal shame.

They stole the Holy Spirit too
to aid their sleight of hand.
Although they only stole the name
(I hope you understand).
For they’re not able to usurp
the Spirit’s special powers;
but merely to pretend they can,
while souls their cult devours.

[Refrain]
And it’s all taking place
just like the Good Book said.
And it’s all lacking grace
while on the truth they tread.

Some make an idol of their land,
claim Jesus to their cause.
It’s “Backward Christian Soldiers”
as they force Old Cov’nant laws.
They use His name to draw you in
to their infernal cult.
You’re fodder for their fascism
by which they God insult.

It seems so many do not want
just Jesus on His own.
They have to add Him to their cult
which knocks Him off His throne.
That’s only in their minds, of course,
for He will always reign.
But in this world all Gospel truth
is by the ‘church’ being slain.

[Refrain]
And it’s all taking place
just like the Good Book said.
And it’s all lacking grace
while on the truth they tread.

The shiny men in Gucci suits
(and there are women too)
who twist the Bible like the way
you’d wring a dishcloth through,
are able to attract in droves
as if with Mesmer’s flair
mass unregenerated souls
into their evil snare.

Their phoney healings and the wealth
they ‘manifest’ with ease
are not from God but from the one
whose dark-force needs they please.
Essentially the devil’s now
lead-actor in the ‘church’;
but not the body of the Christ
whose name they now besmirch.

[Refrain]
And it’s all taking place
just like the Good Book said.
And it’s all lacking grace
while on the truth they tread.

Ashamed to be called human
and weary of this world,
when I see the things it’s proud of
and where its bombs are hurled.
Ashamed to be a part of what
the ‘church’ has now become.
It’s lost in entertaining goats
with ‘holy’ opium.

There’s treason in the foyer
and betrayal in the hall.
But keeping quiet in compromise
betrays more than it all.
And nothing will deter them
from making you their prey —
from trying to make you dance
to their demonic andante.

[Refrain]
And it’s all taking place
just like the Good Book said.
And it’s all lacking grace
while on the truth they tread.

They’ll make you feel guilty
for being left behind —
for not partaking in their cults,
refusing their hive-mind.
But think of Athanasius
(research his blessed name).
Just one man versus all the world;
yet still he overcame.

It’s more developed than I thought.
We’re further down the line
towards the end; I write these words:
they’re pearls before all swine.
I see the writing on the wall —
things falling into place.
Be faithful now unto the end;
just light and truth embrace.

[Refrain]
And it’s all taking place
just like the Good Book said.
And it’s all lacking grace
while on the truth they tread.
