If one is able to be diligent, objective, devout, serious and non-reactionary, with a mind unfettered by dross, one can develop a good sense of what is fake and what is not. And where one is not quite sure, then one holds off until one is, rather than committing to folly. Distinguishing between the fake and the real is what will enable a faithful disciple of Christ to “persevere to the end”. That is the whole thrust of Jesus’s sayings in Matthew 24:10-13,23-27. The ability to distinguish between the truth and the lie is the hallmark of faith (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12; Deuteronomy 13:1-3; 1 John 4:1). 🙏🏽💥💖
