NEW VIDEO: “Weaned off the World”. Here is a new song, freshly written. It’s all about the illusion, reality, truth and fakery of this world, and the need to be weaned off the dross in it. Quote: “What’s ‘not seen’ is where it’s at — all that matters here is that we must get weaned off the world”. Check it all out in the video, which is below the lyrics:

Though we think that this whole
show here is somehow real,
it’s a test we have to take.
All we’re here to do is
find out which parts are true,
and to unmask which bits are fake.

Problem is the parts that we
so often think are real
are the ones which are not true.
For we need some outside
salve from a holy place —
just so we can be born anew.

But we are being hypnotised by matter’s lure;
taken in by ‘shiny’ things.
What’s ‘not seen’ is where it’s at —
all that matters here is that
we must get weaned off the world.

When we start to find those little
bits that are real and true,
it will seem that we are being undone.
Well, that’s right, and so we
should be in every way
until the web has been de-spun.

It’s called “denying yourself” and
then seeing through the dream.
for it’s all over in a flash.
“Life is like a dream that
ends when the morning comes”,
then one will either smile or gnash.

We take ourselves so seriously and
thinking that we’re cool and free —
‘somebodies’ that everyone should clap.
But we are just created to be
servants of the Most High God.
Narcissism’s such a trap.

We’ve all been placed just where we are
and by design to see how far
we will go and use what we’ve received.
My only hope for you today is
that you can turn around and say:
“In the Son of God I have believed!”
